Where do you begin?
In the bible it says – “in the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth and the earth was without form or shape, (something like all of us when we were not even conceived yet) with darkness over the abyss and a mighty wind sweeping over the waters.
Then God said: Let there be Light, and there was light.
God saw the light and it was good.
Can I share something personal?
There was a time before that I used to feel like wasted, useless, lonely, depressed, unworthy, untalented, a failure, unloved, disliked…
Just like what the bible describe about the earth w/o form and shape. My life has no form and shape. I was lost, confused, the storms of life pounding my life… but then the word of God said, “LET THERE BE LIGHT!” And there was light. God saw how good it was.
In the midst of your current ordeal, your uncertainties, in your confusion in your sadness and even depression, if you don’t know what to do with your life, then go back to where everything started. God back to God.
When God created you, He already included the light in your heart. This light is your calling, this light is your passion, this light is your gift and that gift is not meant to be just for you. That gift is meant to bless the world. It’s already there inside of you. You just need to discover this. I invite you to discover God in your Heart.
When I started to pursue my purpose, it took a long time before I was able to get it. A lot of frustrations & hardships w/ trial and error… but eventually I get it. Funny thing is I was sitting on top of it the whole time.
My line of works is usually behind the scene. I don’t get to be in front of the camera. That’s not my job. My job is to help the guy in front of the camera to look really, really good. Because that guy is going to be watched by thousands of people that will bless their lives and my job is to capture his message and help him look good.
But that part of my life is just exactly it – a part of my life. On the side I get to share God’s message to the people I encounter on a daily basis. When I am with my friends, when I get to meet new people in my life, through the books that I was able to write and publish, those that I was able to coach. There’s still a big part of my life that I get to bless the world with my gifts.
So in your pursuit to find out your purpose, begin where it all started – w/ God. The Light is already there in your heart. I pray that you find it soon.
